The brew is a light yellow/green, the aroma of the brewed liquor is pleasantly, yet mildly grassy with a hint of bacon (yes, I said bacon). The medium-bodied liquor is slightly smokey and sweet with a long and finish. Try it alone, then add your preferred natural sweetener if so desired.

About Tai Ping Hou Kui - Superior Grade Green Tea
Tai Ping Hou Kui is a very rare and unique green tea. It was invented in the early 20th century in the town of Tai Ping in the Anhui Province of China. The plant variety is Shiye and it is grown on the Northern slope of the Huang Shan Mountains. One of the most notable characteristics of the tea is the incredibly long leaf. The dried leaf can measure anywhere between two and four inches long and has a distinct grid pattern from the rice paper it is pressed in to form the leaves.
